1. Introduction
getretreated.com (the “Platform”) is owned and operated by PT PMA Sarang Capital Group, a legally registered company incorporated in Indonesia. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.
The Platform is a technology marketplace that connects independent retreat operators with travellers seeking transformative travel and restorative retreat experiences. We do not provide retreat services ourselves.
2. Definitions
- Platform:
- The website getretreated.com and all associated services operated by PT PMA Sarang Capital Group.
- User:
- Any individual who accesses the Platform to browse, enquire about, or book a retreat.
- Operator:
- Any business or individual who lists retreat experiences on the Platform.
- Retreat:
- A transformative travel or restorative retreat experience listed on the Platform by an Operator.
- Booking:
- A confirmed reservation made by a User for a Retreat, evidenced by successful payment processing.
3. Platform Role
Retreated operates solely as a technology marketplace and intermediary. We facilitate the connection between Users and Operators; we do not own, operate, manage, control, or deliver any Retreat listed on the Platform.
getretreated.com is not a party to any contract formed between a User and an Operator. The contract for the provision of the Retreat is between the User and the Operator only. Our role is limited to providing the technology infrastructure to facilitate that transaction.
4. Operator Responsibilities
Operators who list Retreats on the Platform are solely and exclusively responsible for:
- The accuracy, completeness, and truthfulness of all listing content, including descriptions, pricing, images, dates, and included amenities.
- The delivery, quality, and safety of the Retreat as described.
- Obtaining and maintaining all applicable licences, permits, certifications, and insurance required by their local jurisdiction.
- Health & safety compliance for all participants during the Retreat.
- Operating lawfully within their jurisdiction.
- Their own cancellation, refund, and dispute policies.
getretreated.com does not verify, audit, or certify Operator licences, qualifications, insurance, or any other credentials. Users rely on Operator-provided information at their own risk.
5. User Responsibilities
As a User of the Platform, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, truthful, and current personal information when creating an account and making a Booking.
- Take sole responsibility for assessing your own physical health, fitness level, and medical suitability for any Retreat you book. Consult a qualified medical professional before participating in physically demanding activities.
- Comply with all rules, policies, and instructions set by the Operator before and during the Retreat.
- Review the Operator’s cancellation and refund policy fully before completing a Booking.
- Not use the Platform for any unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purpose.
6. Bookings & Payments
All payments on the Platform are processed securely by Stripe, a third-party payment processor. getretreated.com does not store or have access to your full card details.
A Booking is only considered confirmed upon successful payment authorisation (i.e. upon receipt of a payment_intent.succeeded event from our payment processor). A pending or failed payment does not constitute a confirmed Booking.
Prices are displayed in multiple currencies. USD and EUR are the primary reference currencies. Currency conversion rates are indicative and may differ from your bank’s applied rate.
7. Commission & Direct Booking Policy
The Platform charges Operators a commission fee on Bookings facilitated through the Platform. The applicable commission rate is communicated to Operators in writing prior to listing. Use of the Platform by Operators constitutes acceptance of the then-current commission structure.
- No circumvention. Operators may not solicit, encourage, or accept direct payment from a User for a Booking that originated through the Platform — including enquiries, waitlist sign-ups, or any other contact initiated via a Platform listing. Any such arrangement constitutes a material breach of these Terms.
- Platform-originated bookings.A Booking is considered “Platform-originated” if the User first discovered the Retreat, contacted the Operator, or initiated payment through getretreated.com, regardless of where final payment is completed.
- Contact detail gating. Operator contact details (email address, phone number, and other direct contact information) are only disclosed to Users who have completed a Booking through the Platform. This measure protects both Operators and the integrity of the marketplace.
- Reporting obligation. Operators must not instruct Users to contact them off-platform for pricing, availability, or any other purpose that could result in a direct booking. Any User who is directed off-platform by an Operator should report this to hello@getretreated.com.
- Consequences of breach. Violation of this policy may result in immediate listing suspension, removal from the Platform, and the Operator becoming liable for the applicable commission on any direct Bookings traced to Platform-originated leads.
8. Cancellations & Refunds
Each Operator sets and publishes their own cancellation and refund policy. It is the User’s responsibility to review the applicable policy before completing a Booking.
getretreated.com is not liable for any refund disputes between Users and Operators. We may assist in facilitating communication between parties at our sole discretion, but we are under no obligation to do so and make no guarantee as to the outcome of any dispute.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PT PMA Sarang Capital Group, its directors, officers, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for:
- The quality, fitness, accuracy, or legality of any Retreat listed on the Platform.
- Any safety incidents, personal injury, illness, or death arising from participation in a Retreat.
- Operator misconduct, misrepresentation, unlicensed operation, or failure to deliver the Retreat as described.
- Any loss of personal property, data, or financial loss suffered in connection with a Retreat.
- Any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive losses of any kind.
Our total aggregate liability to any User in connection with the Platform shall not exceed the total amount paid by that User for the specific Booking giving rise to the claim.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform — including branding, design, copy, and code — is owned by PT PMA Sarang Capital Group and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
By listing a Retreat on the Platform, Operators grant PT PMA Sarang Capital Group a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, reproduce, and promote their listing content (including images and descriptions) on the Platform and in associated marketing materials for the purpose of facilitating Bookings.
11. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Indonesia.
12. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute between a User and an Operator, both parties are required to attempt to resolve the matter directly and in good faith before escalating.
The Platform may, at its sole discretion, assist in facilitating communication between disputing parties, but is under no obligation to mediate, arbitrate, or otherwise intervene, and shall not be bound by any outcome.
13. Changes to These Terms
PT PMA Sarang Capital Group reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
